Joomulus not compatible with Rockettheme ? 3 Years, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,
(excuse my poor english, I'm french ;=)

I have a Joomla 1.5.8 web'site with the last Rockettheme's template : Versatility.

With FireFox no problem when I turn Joomumlus' module on. But with IE7, others effects (like rockslider) doesn't work with Joomulus.

I don't know why. Can you help me please ? I wanna use Joomulus because it's a great module.

My website if you want to see the differences between IE7 and FireFox :

Thanks Guys.
Have a good day.

rocketheme has its own module running!
it didnt support any module so try to remove the conflicted module or change your own template.

I've also duplicated this with RT newest template Akirika. Disable joomulus and it works fine in IE7.

i had the same sort of problem with RT templates. Most of their componants are heavily reliant on embedded java. If you try to run another componant or module which uses its own java runtime it will conflict and die.

Sometimes the TR will have an option to disable the java in their componants - but more often than not it wont. This is usually down to their mootools.js Jscript.

If this is the case the only option is to change your template or remove the RT modules and componants that are causing the conflict.
