Hi,

I just upgrade my Joomulus and I see that now Joomulus didn't search himself the meta tag of articles. So if I have understand I lost the search engine because I have to set the clouds only with URL'S ?

I'm a new Joomulus user, but I've read something about that in the release notes of version 2.0:
In this new version we’ve done away with a lot of the parameters from the earlier versions; No more tags generated from content for one
These are the reasons:
The main reason for this was to stop a major bug with PHP expending bytes allocated, which would stop the whole page from loading and leaving the viewer with a lovely PHP error.

The second reason to remove them, and people may not be aware of this, is the search link that all of the generated tags were associated with.

Yip no more generated tags from content. They put more strain on the server because Joomlulus was trying to generate all the tags. And you had less control on the tags and where they led to. You don't really want to lead people to a search page. You want to take them to a page directly associated with the tag.

I don't thing so and I give an exemple. In a site I have particuly make attention for the meta-tag in each articles (everybody knows that meta-tag aren't efficiente for referencement so I use this case only for Joomulus). So in this site I have differents sections (SA,SB SC, etc) and categories (C1, C2, C3; etc) The same label of categories could be in the differents sections : C1 in SA AND SB, C2 in every S, C3 in SA AND SC, etc..
So with Joomulus I can lead my visitor in every pages that talk about C1 or C2 without askink my visitors to use the search engine and (and this is the most important) without displaying the page of results of the answer of the search engine).
I hope that you see what I mean ? I understand the reasons that lead you to stop this fonctionality but I have a problem to continue the fonctions Joomulus made for me before the upgrade.

Um sorry I don't quite understand. The previous version was in essence a search engine with very limited functionality. Giving the user a list of all pages that talk about C1 or C2 just forces them to guess which page they may or may not be after. This offers a perfect opportunity for your user to leave if they feel confuse. You can use the new Joomulus to have a tag of C1 and link directly to a blog section layout of C1. This offers a much better user experience. And allows for category control. The previous version would attempt to pull up relevant words, but would require you to black list all irrelevant words.

And if need be you can mimic previous functionality by typing in your category as a Joomulus tag and linking it to www. yoursite. com /index.php?searchword=category1&ordering=&searchphrase=all&option=com_search

You'll need to swap the site name for yours and edit the bold area with your tag phrase.
