Joomla Templates

For some reason the scaling on my site does not seem to work. Do you have any suggestions why this might be, I have even set the parameters exactly like the one on your site, but it still stays round. Please see image for the parameters.
I am working on Joomla 1.5.11 on a windows xp box running xampp. I tested it on firefox and IE

I faced the same issue you described. Therefore I compared the source code of my website and of joomlabear.com and it turned out, that the used .swf files are different.

I used - according to the parameter settings - 'tagcloud_en.swf'. Here on this site 'tagcloud.swf' is used.

I've downloaded the 'tagcloud.swf' and removed the corresponding language parameter in 'helper.php' and it worked.

Please be aware that this is only a quick work-around which is not tested at all! I recommend to wait until there's an official fix for this issue, which I guess won't take too long.

Nevertheless I've zipped the two amended files. Usage on your own risk.

Your work around seem to have done the trick for me too.

Just one thing, you didn't include the helper.php file in your zip file.

But like you said, I just removed the language parameter in the helper file and wha-la it worked.

Interesting. I have to make a update to Joomulus in the very soon with some Chinese language updates; I'll try and resolve this at the same time. Shouldn't be a difficult fix

I installed Joomulus today and I have the same problem. I just replaced tagcloud_en.swf by the old one. Of course, I added the suffixe _en to the name file according the language.

It works! But of course, it's not a good way...

Hope a new version will come soon.

It has been such a long time since i did this, I cant remember what I changed but it should work if you just unzip the attached file to websiterootdir/modules/mod_joomulus after you have installed the original version

Now if I could figure out a way to disable links...for the time being. If I leave them blank they default to the original links.

Mark, why don't you just duplicate some of your tags if you don't have enough links, you can maybe just change the tag names, which will be better for SEO as well because now you have more keywords linking to your pages.

I believe all the tag are required for the flash file to work.

This may sound strange, but at the moment I have no links, so I have all the tags set to come right back to the same page.

Has this issue been solved?

I too cannot scale the module in the X dir.

Same problem - tried for one hour playing with the settings and placing the module in different positions, thought the problem is at my end b4 coming here.
Will try the remedy described... some time... fed up for now :'(
