Hi , thank you for this gr8 module , i was wondering if it is possible to support Arabic language ?!

like the demo from Roy Tanck, i guess its not complicated if someone did it

Apologies for my humour - however it's not simple - in the unicode version the characters are loaded from the users computer - so that the characters do not have to be embedded in the .swf - which for languages like Chinese or Japanese can result in .swf files of 5MB or more... not practical for most websites.

The answer lies in something we discussed with Roy months ago and it's taken til now to get just Roy's version working - the chars are loaded from the users PC and then converted by flash into bitmaps so that they look smooth in animation - otherwise the characters look all ragged and not nice at all.

Coming soon - but sill a few days of work for us - not a few mins unfortunately.

so basically u say that characters in roy version r not text anymore and they rendered into shapes ?!
i used to be a flash designer and i have this huge problem in all flash editions , they couldn't make arabic characters in the right order , they showed backward .

I'm really looking forward for the arabic support edition of ur tags , i reeeeeally like it :)
