Joomulus installation 1 Year, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I didn't manage to install the module.I tried using component installer and i went nowhere.I only got the following message:

ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Hi ivcha,

What was the way you installed it?

Here a fast "Installation Guide"
1.Download the newest version from this Link
2.Go in the backend under Extensions -> Install/Uninstall
Upload the Package File

Note:Does not unpack the downloaded file!!! Upload it as .zip format

Already did that.This is how i got message.Other plugins goes well. I used mod_joomulus_04.10.zip file downloaded from that page.

I tested it on my playground with the newest package and it runs fine.

Please check in the backend under Help >> System Info the points:

XML Enabled: Yes
Zlib Enabled: Yes

Unfortunately we have not found us online at the last days :-(

Please try the "Install from Directory" Mode in Joomla. Unzi the Extension and Upload it in a directors on your server.

I already tried that and no success, but i managed to solve it. There was a problem with hosting account so i changed my hosting provider and then installation went without problems.

I had the same error.

Turns out I had located the file using Browse at the "Upload Package File" option, then clicked on Install at the "Install from Directory" option.

I had somehow jumped ahead and misread this as as "Install to Directory".

I retried clicking on "Upload and Install" and it loaded fine.
