Transparent bliss - choosing background 3 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I just wanted to know if it is possible to set the choice of background only on the frontpage or to link to it from the menu?

BTW: what is the differenc between "Display Module" and "Hide all" in the frontpage image selector?

I have similar questions. Where do I find a place which allows me to make changes to the theme.

Ok... but what is the practical difference? Either way a different background img cannot be chosen

Mmmmmm

Template Parameters is where you can modify a few options - at present you cannot specify to show the module only on certain pages.

However... You could do something sneaky...

You could replicate the transparent bliss template so you have two installed - to do this you'll probably want to edit the template details XML file and change the name of the template in your duplicate before uploading.

Once you have uploaded a 2nd transparent bliss you can then assign one to the home page and the other one can be your default.

Now adjust parameters of the homepage template to show chooser and switch the template chooser off for the other template.

Might just work ;-) Let me know if you try this.

I know it's not the most efficient way but unfortunately we just dont have time to develop any more features for transparent bliss at the moment.

I did that for my site (not in production wet)!
One template for the all site and another (bliss 2 column) for forum and Gallery)

But something else!

How to export the selection on the frontpage to the second template?

Thanks

Dan

I hope that I´m understand what you mean. :(
At first please go in the backend.

Than under:
Extensions >> Template Manager >> Select the second Template

Than select "Menu Assignment" you can assign the Template to the sites you want...

I hope it helps ;)

The template are already setup and assign to the right menu in the template manager!

The problem WAS when a user select a background in the normal template, the selection is not export in the other template!

I just put both template for "Front end image selector = Show" And i'ts working fine now!

Thanks for that beautiful template!
