I am new to Joomla and all of this template stuff so please bare with me lol!!

I installed the BlackBear Pro and when I look at it there are no graphics showing at all.

I went to admin and this is unwriteable, there is nothing on that page to do but make sure I had all the menu assignments selected.

Can someone help me please. I have been trying to figure this out all day. I un-installed and re-installed and the same.

I took this off of maintenance so you can see it. This is a work in progress I think lol!!

So when you mean no graphics are showing? do you mean the logos? I can see all the templates graphics.

If admin is unwriteable it may mean that php is not configured properly or your host executes php in a manner that it can't write to a file. That's all quite technical though.

Or it could be the file permissions, on the admin file. But again it's technical; You'll need Cpanel or Deamweaver to resolve

Hi,

When I look at the site all I see is text. No logo are showing. Even the banner at the bottom has a box with the red X.

Also none of my tabs at the top are showing. I should have 3 tabs, one for home, one for my forum and one for my blog

Hope this helps

You have an extension installed that is trying to do something strange with an iframe.

FYI your page loads in firefox but with an error message.

Unpublish all your extensions and turn them on one by one until you find the problem.

Some others have your issue:

This is your source code that is causing the problem:

<iframe id="blockrandom"
name=""
src=""
width="100%"
height="200"
scrolling="auto"
align="top"
frameborder="0"
class="wrapper">
No Iframes</iframe>

There is some javascript at top of source that relates to this also but I can't publish it here due to our forum security (won't let me!)

ok - have you got firefox installed?

if not google it - download an dinstall it - then at least you can see your site.

next hit CTRL-U (in firefox) and window will open with your source code - search for "iframe" and you'll see it in your source.

HOWEVER, This is not really going to help you solve the problem - it does show you (or me) that the issue is not related to our template as the iframe code is nothing to do with the template you got from us ;-)

you need to go to into your joomla admin area and look at teh components, mambots, plugins, modules , etc that you have installed. One of these is generating the code that is causing teh issue - you need to disable the extension that is causing the problem.

If you look at that post I linked to above on the mambo site the fix at bottom refers to "wrapper" which is an iframe - I never use wrapper myself but typically an iframe is used to load a webpage within a webpage if that makes sense

this is what i see below - perhaps get a friend to test it and then perhaps contact your ISP and ask if they are blocking a connection to your server.

Try shift-refresh in firefox to make sure its not caching.

Try another template (I don't believe this is the problem but let me know if it makes a difference.)

I refreshed firefox.

I just added the transparent bliss to see if I can see all of the images, logos etc and I can.

On the other template maybe I am not understanding what I have to do--and I apoligize for all this but Joomla is new to me lol!!

I don't see the bear image or the blue image at the top like in the demo. I wanted that image as it blends in well to the forum I have. I also don't see my tabs for the forum, blog, etc at the top as in the demo. Is there somewhere I have to change all of this info to make it show??

I love that template and I really want to use it.

Newbie that's clueless lol!!
