i use a table in the frontpage cause i need to place an image with a plugin which do not allow me any parameters to align the image next to the text

i do not if this is the reason but sometimes (very often actually) the text... or the table i do not know collapse to the left and the whole text come to use just 50% of the tempplate width

i do not use the background images of the template this is unpublished but i am not sure if this could be the reason.

Any clues on this?

Might need a little more information.
What plugin are you using that doesn't have parameters to align the image next to the text?
Are you building the table in the content editor or the index.php file?

The background image shouldn't influence a table or image in the code.

Now I use the js higslide component and plugin and the expanders with the JCE editor to insert the images, but before that i used the protos image plugin having the same collapsing problem

I put a two columns table through the content editor, right side for text and left side for the higslide image. otherwise the image would not align next to the text

as i told before the frontend image selector is hidden could this be the reason for this problem?
