Joomla Templates

i have installed joomla and this awesome looking theme tonight and spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out why it just will not display properly for me.

my site at the moment is resting with the template active, but clearly not working



if anyone can shed some light on why it is just not working at all properly i would be eternally appreciative.

can you post a link to your site? From the looks of that incredibly small image I'd say the path to the CSS is incorect. I've no idea why.

Post a link, that will make it easier to find the issue

Hello, I am using bliss 1.5 and love it. It has been working great for a month or so but now I have the same problem as the guy above.

The whole template does not display.

I have uninstalled and re-installed but it still does not work, its as if it is not seeing the CSS file.

Please cuold you point me in the right direction?

Can you make sure you are using the latest version from our website? Let me know if you are - there are some older versions drifting around on the web...

I found that out the hard way! I had an older version and nothing but trouble.

I finally found your website and downloaded "transparent_bliss_1.5". The home page looks incredible!!! But, for some reason, I cannot get any additional pages to load properly.

By the way, this is one of the coolest templates I have ever seen or used. As soon as I can afford to upgrade to the pay version, I will!!!

Holmes I see the problem - publish the menu into "user1" position - NOT left.

i spoke to soon - that is not your only issue - the other problem is that you have activated URL rewriting I think... email me and I will go and take a look. you can use contact form.

I feel stupid for asking but, what "contact form"?

Hi again, I downloaded and installed the latest version from this site, checked SEF Url's are off, still no luck. Nothing will display as it used to.
I have had to revert to a standard template as the site is live and can have as many as 200 people on it at one time. URL: dancewithpassion.co.uk

Any other ideas anyone? I'm a bit stumped.

Here is a screen shot of what the page looks like when i load the template.

Oh and another thing i noticed is that the thumbnail does not display when hovering the mouse over the text in template manager, could this be a clue as to the problem?

I'm baffled as wehn i first installed this template, it all worked fine, I have no idea what's could have changed.

I have disabled SEF URL's - this is a nice feature but if it is breaking your site then obviously we can't run this right now - are you running ona windows server perchance?

Also I have to correct myself - the main menu should be published left but needs a suffix _menu to function correctly. This is also fixed.

I can't tell you how excited I am with the template!!! I am almost positive that I will try the "Joomulus" template next.

Quick question, though, if I may... is it possible to make the background of the header clouds (like it is now in you demo), but have the side bars another color?
