header problem 3 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Black Bear Pro Chromatic is my first Joomla template experience so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here. I replaced the head.png file with a 468x60 file and instead of one copy across the header I got four. I really want one that covers the entire area. I'm not planning to use the ad banner on the right. Did I do this right or I'm I suppose to use the Joomla banner function to put something there? I appreciate any thoughts!!
I solved the problem after looking at the original head.png image file by inserting my image into the image contained in the file.

Hi Hotmanwalt,

Your Problem I think is the backround-repeat. Please go in the template.css

Joomla-Backend >> Extensions >> Template Manager >> BlackBearPro - Chromatic Edition >> Edit CSS >> Edit the template.css

Then go to:

#header {
position: static;
height: 118px;
background-image:url(../images/head.png);
background-repeat:no-repeat;

Please add the red marked line in your template.css.

I think that is your mistake. I hope that it help. :)
