I paid for a theme and when I was returned
from PayPal it said I was unauthorized to view this page.

Very sorry about that. This issue seems to affect approx 3 in 100 transactions and I have not been able to work out if it is PayPal or virtuemart that is playing up.

Just an FYI - I bought my theme today and got the same error - there was no problem because I got your email with the download link right away but it looks like you have access rights set wrong on your redirect page after checking out at paypal. Nice themes!

Did you get get the template or would you like me to send?
It is bizarre because most people have no issue but the past 4-5 days have seen every second person having the problem.
If you have not got it I'll send it - I'm not going to try and fix the issue at this stage because in the next week I'll be uploading a fully rebuilt site with some exciting new features, and a little perk for anyone who has purchased a template.

Actually I think I misunderstood the issue - you are talking about the redirect from paypal but unfortunately I don't think we can take people straight to a download page with this method - Virtuemart sends a link via email which can only be used once and if the user is using a download plugin sometimes this causes the download to fail - and then it cannot be resumed!
I'm going to let the cat out of the bag a little here and say that next week we're switching to a subscription system - everyone who has purchased a template will get a complimentary membership for a period of time - It's going to make it easier to distribute template updates, extra files such as the flash source file from chromatic demo site, and a whole bunch of other good stuff.
Anyway I should not 'promise' that for next week as things always take longer than planned... but with a bit of luck...
