How to make header a link? Polar Bear Pro 3 Years ago Karma: 0
I am trying to turn the header of the Polar Bear Pro template into a link. I tried putting head.png into a module but none of them line up with the header. I also tried adding a hotspot in Fireworks to head.png but that doesn't work either (but maybe I am exporting it wrong?). Can someone give me step by step instructions on what I need to do?

The header is a background image so it cannot be linked directly - do you want the whole head to link or perhaps just a logo positioned over the top of it?

A logo positioned over top of it will do just fine. The logo needs to be in the top left corner of the header... how can I put a linkable image on top of the header? Thanks!

Here is an easy way:

Look at the code for the top banner module - in index.php and in template.css

You can simply change the code in template.css to float:left; instead of right and change the margin:right to margin:left

then publish a module in that position and use the WYSIWYG to upload a pic and link it.

Clue: you are looking for #top-ad in the css.

If you wanted to keep the right top banner module you could replicate the code but in index.php and template.css but call it e.g. #top-ad-left and modify values as suggested - in index.php you wpuld need to replicate the call for the top banner module position and name the position something else - user9 is a good one because Joomla already recognizes it - if u use a custom name it must also be added to template details xml
