hello, i've made an membership and was downloading polarbear progmatic and now i want to activate the topmenu. before i was using the freetemplate of blackbear1.5.1. this one in the premiumtemplates "bleackbear_progmatic" havent the topmenu and i want to enable it but i dont know how. and the searchfied have also to be in the topmenu. it weres great if someone help me out with my problem and please forgive me my bad english :) this is not my first language

Hi Michael,
We changed the module position names in the latest version - what this means is that you need to go into modules - top menu and change its module psition to 'top-nav' - set it to legacy flat list.

Let me know if this fixes it.

edit: i was try to change the coloroption from red to lightgray but i dont see any changes on the frontend! i've checked and params.ini is writeable. what can be the solution to use another colorsheme? sorry for all that problems


edit: nah, now i fixed all these problems. forget the colorshemes. that will work now.

BUT A BIG PROBLEM has happened. it is hard to find a compatible template to all browsers and now i got a problem. i was using the blackbear1.5.1 and was checking this template on all related browsers in my oppinion "IE, Firefox, Opera, Safari" but now with the Pragmatic i got a little error on IE. The Topmenu has not only one line it is placed in two lines and i got absolutely no idea where to edit! please can you take a look into it? i would like to send the url only as PM or mail if you can do that. thanks

for further information. this problem happens on IE6. not on IE8 but i am not sure on IE7 because i havent IE7. is there a solution to fix it on IE6? thanks

can you post a link to your site? Easier to troubleshoot.

Hopefully you are using chromatic black bear? This is the pro members release and is always the most up to date. It has been tested across all the major browsers.

it happens with the old IE version 6. with the new IE8 this error was not. if you want to take a look i would like to send you the link via email. p.s. IE6 has errors and on IE7 i dont know! and yes it happens with the chromatic version
