Transparent Bliss two column Background image. 2 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 2
Hello there,

Last night I found and installed the Transparent Bliss two column version. I am trying to substitute my own background images into the background image folder. I have been resizing my new images to match the ones already in the folder and just renaming the original images to .old as well as the thumbs, because I'm not using the java selection applet on my home page. I just want to set it up to run random images or just set it up myself from the backend. Anyway, I don't seem to be able to see the images i upload and rename to (image1.jpg.....etc.) I also looked in the css code for the template and realize that each image has its own css file. I will probably need to change some things in those as well. I am hoping to use single stretched image for all, so I shouldn't need to have any repeat....just center and stretch.

I hope I have explained well enough...if not let me know what to clarify.

Any info is very appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

PS I had a few of these pictures working perfectly with the Trans Bliss three column template....FYI.

Update:

I finally found another post about the same issue I'm having. For some reason when I installed the Trans bliss two column after having the three column version installed, the background images are being called up from the old trans bliss template install....(the original three column tran bliss). If I change the images in the old template background images folder, I can select them from the new template, and they will work. Also I am just wanting to stretch the picture to the size of the page so I have also had to recode some of the css files for the images...also in the old template folder.

So, to get what I want I have had to put all my images in the old templates (Trans Bliss 1.5 three column) folder and select which ones I want to display with the new template (Trans Bliss two column).

Kind of confusing I know.

Is there a more organised way to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Matt
