Sometimes when I go to our church website, there will be a menu item in the left column that is highlighted for no apparent reason. When I navigate the site, it stays that way. When I inspect it with firebug, it is listed as current. Any ideas?

Hi - I've had a look at your site - looks great by the way!

Can't replicate the issue you are seeing though? Is there a specific page it comes up on?

I believe it has something to do with the script that highlights a link when you are on that page. Currently I do not have a home link there, only in the top menu.

I just installed Polar Bear Chromatic on another site and it works like a dream...But the top menu is not in use at this time.

Sorry I have not gotten back to you sooner - have been under the weather witha bit of flu.

I still cant replicate the issue - do you have any submenu items in your menu?

No, I sure dont. I do notice that when I go to one of those links, it should stay highlighted while I am on that page...but it doesnt.

I'm sorry too, I guess I have my terms messed up. The intermittant problem is that a link will show as active (be highlighted) when I'm on the home page.

The other thing I see is that active links do not show ( are not highlighted whem I'm on that page), so I am wondering if the two issues are related.

For anyone following this thread we solved the issue by deactivating Joomla caching and matching module parameters to the demo template.
