TOPIC: No header on Transbear?

No header on Transbear? 2 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I was wondering how I could remove the header. Or more then anything, since I have put the logo in the feature module position, how can I make the header smaller, but also "flush" so to speak color-wise?

I have made it smaller but the color is more white.

I'm going to see what I can do in photoshop to the head.png.

Thanks!

Hi Shawn,
Sorry for my delaye3d responses - I've had a hell of a flu the past 4-5 days and am just coming right and catching up.
Are you running fireworks? You should be able to grab the source files for transbear and adjust the slices for the size you need.
Download is here

OK cool, it's not really anything to do with the size but the color / transparency of the head.png file.

My bad in explaining. I see what I can do in fireworks though :)

Shawn,
Made you a quick video - don't know if it will help or not but this is basically how I go about editing my fireworks source files.

Thank you, that was perfect. Awesome video. I'd pay more money if you made more :)

Actually, I am already paying for an account at vtc.com, I should check out the fireworks section. All video tutorials. It's just I like videos like yours which are right to the point of what I am doing.

Fireworks looks really cool, esp since I'm so used to Photoshop, this seems so much more web-centric.

Thanks again, I cannot say thank you enough times.

:) Thanks for the awesome feedback Shawn.
The vid I made for you was a little hairy - first one so still polishing my act.

I think the 2nd one I made after that was perhaps slightly more polished blog.joomlabear.com/adding-gradients-edges- background-images/

And I will make more for you! It's an excellent way of putting info up - really fast once I got some momentum and certainly much much faster than writing.

Fireworks rocks because it has all the Photoshop tools you use regularly and the vector tools you would use often if you were working in illustrator.

slicing is great and you can hit preview with slices on and see how big your file sizes are for each slice. Hmmm definitely feel another vid coming on.

;-)
