Joomla Templates

Hi blackbear constructors,
when I saw the blackbear template first I immediately knew that it's gonna be my homepage design...a very great template !!

But now I want to add a column on the right side where I can place some adverts or banners. i already searched the forum but i didnt find a helpful answer to my question.
"Right-rail" - Thread I read could not help me cause i already modified my .css and index.html to use the "content"div for my minifrontpage. i also tried to add an other div (right) in the index.html but the items i wanted to see on the page were only above or below the blackbear frame.

If you have an idea (or more info) how to create a column on the right side next to the common frame of the template, please let me know..

sorry I don't have an answer for you. Wish I did because I was considering the same thing.

But I have a question - how are you gonna fit ads on the right. The template's main body is already pretty narrow.

I would think you would need to mod the template to be a little wider before thinking about ads.

We should have the 3 column layout ready before Christmas - apologies for the lack of updates to the site - We've been flat out on client work but are planning a big effort of the break and will be releasing the 3 column versions, more colors and all 1.5 compatible.

Just making a few tweaks and testing cross browser before we release.

This is Joomla 1.0 version. Will get into the 3 column 1.5 once we're happy with this one.

Template has extra width now - 990pixels wide total so will fit nicely onto 1024x768+
