Submenu indenting 2 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello all,

After searching for similar posts for the Transparent Bliss and trying to implement the sugested lines to CSS I'm here to ask for help on this subject.

:(

I can't find a way to make this work...
Any addicional help or hint on this?

Thank you so very, very much for your help!

I'm "this" close to have a version of the website I want...still with very few contents but with the overall structure almost final.
I have it on a localhost. When I have it on a public host I'll share it here with you all :)

Good morning Big Bear :)

I think I found out how to have a menu indented :D

So that others know:

1. Go to Extensions/Module Manager
2. Choose Main Menu (in my case it is the one I want to edit)
3. In the righ pane/Module Parameters and select the type of menu you want in the combo box Menu Style:

List
Legacy-vertical
Legacy-horizontal
Legacy-flat list

I chose Legacy-vertical and voila :)
Now I will try to edit its position, colors and etc by editing the css I believe.

Let's see how it goes.

Any way I'm sure I will have more doubts and probably will annoy you a bit more.

Thank you :)

:) Manage to edit its position correctly!

I had placed "_menu" in the Module Class Sufix input box (Menu Extensions/Module Manager: right pane: Advanced Parameters).
Erased it and the menu position is OK.

Now...its color.
I don't seem to find anywhere in the css that changes its color.

...still trying.

Found it :)

By editing css:

a:visited {
color: #516f97;
font-weight: bold;
}

I think I've manage to have a nice menu ready to go.

Next questions will probably be regarding to languages: I have the flags but having problems with tranlations. Don't seem to be able to create a link to a translated menu section, for example.

I'll be testing a bit further more on this: so far I've been able to resolve all doubts...hope to solve this as well.

Also...I'm thinking to publish on a public host (already have one: www.sunytravel.com) on a test link to begin showing and ask for opinions: I think I'll have some doubts here too.

...well...now it's my turn to go to sleep.

Hi Sofia,
How is Lisbon at this time of year?
Looks like you made quite a bit of progress while I was sleeping!
I could not see a link to your dev site though - do you have one?
Kind regards
Big Bear

Hi Big Bear :)

Lisbon is fine...but Summer has ended this week: rain has started to fall :( We were all feeling kinda strange because it was as if we were in a endless summer season. :)

I am just now trying to figure out how to create a test domain to publish what I have been doing and show.
I have it on a local host.

When I have it public I'll show you!

:)

I look forward to seeing the site Sofia. Auckland is coming out of Winter and into Summer - but weather has been strange here too - It got very warm and sunny and everyone thought summer had arrived - then suddenly got cold again...

I asked a friend of mine for help on the subject of creating a subdomain.

If all goes well...I hope to be able to show the site tomorrow :)
