Can you give me some idea of what I would need to create a site like the one you did in the demo?

I have looked at the slideshow pro and not sure which one to buy? I also was looking at using easyssp from Joomlashack. Again no specifics on which slidshow pro to get?

Hi - Do you have Flash?
Ideally you want slideshowpro for flash and slideshowpro Director - comes to about $80 but really is worth it...
I'm going to start offering SlideshowPro setups shortly - email me and we can discuss some finer details.

i should have also added that things get slightly trickier if you don't have Flash - but I can help you out with that part possibly...

Thanks Big Bear, Yes I have Flash CS4. Reading the docs for easyssp it is said that Flash is not needed anymore with the module.

It might be worth looking at www.easyssp.com/docs.php.

That's true - but trust me - you have a lot more flexibility with the Flash version - easyssp is a pain IMO - and you can use Thumbgrid as well if you go Flash.

Here is another example site:
mickcoote.com/clips.html

You have to see Director (the image manager) to believe it though.

I will take your word for it. I am tired of trying to make extensions work that should just be ignored.

So I will need the flash extension and the director to do it right?

The only thing that sucks is the director is for one domain.

You will need those two - It may not be worth going for Director unless you plan to run quite a few slideshows... You can do them easily enough just manually creating the XML, etc - But Director is just sooooo sweet. If you email me I can set you up with a quick demo.
