hi all - i have joomla aleady installed and i used one of the basic templates to get my support side started however i decided to download/install blackbear and polarbear chromatic so that i can change them around to suit me. However - i want to add my logo to the top for instance and looking at the files in the folders i cannot work out which image i need to alter to have my logo appear on the top left. also when i preview either one of the templates i see the xml boxes are transparent and there appears to be multiples of these superimposed on each other. I'm new to web building so please forgive my ignorance - can i assume that if i go ahead and make one of these templates the default template all my data will still be there? the new template will not overwrite my data with all it's sample data? hope that makes sense thank you for your help and advise

Hi Debbe,
You can definitely change templates as often as you wish - In Joomla the data is kept completely separate from the design.
I'm going to email you regarding the logo, etc.

I have also managed to install the Polar Bear Black template to my site but can't work out which image is the logo. Do I need to add the logo code to the css file?
Thanks in advance.

Figured it out!
After reading a post on the Joomla forum I realised all I had to do was edit the head.png file in the images folder.

The template looks wicked BTW!
Excellent work BBear
