Joomla Templates

Trying out PolarBear Pro, which appears to be the most recent, file shows date Sept. 12, 2008. (Is this still being updated?)

When I go to Joomla Admin/Template Manager and click Preview, the site shows all menus working ok. On the Top Menu (user3), I have tabs for Info, Contact, Location, etc. They look fine, displayed in a horizontal menu in user3, just as they do in other templates.

However, after selecting PolarBearPro as the default menu, going back to look at the page.. the Top Menu items are gone. I've checked all of the settings and they appear to be correct. Switching back to an old template (SimpleBusiness) also shows the menu items.

How can I fix this?

Help with this will be greatly appreciated!

OK, I found the problem.

The Template Preview appears to be mis-labeled. In that preview screen, the label "USER3" is displayed over my nav links.

However, in the menu selections there is a different setting for "TopNav", which does make the links appear properly.

I can't make anything appear in USER2 or USER3 positions... they appear in the menu selections, but don't appear to do anything. Are they disabled?

Or, is PolarBearPro just out-of-date and not working properly with the current Joomla version?

PLEASE advise, as I'm working on a critical project that must be running tonight.. and I really don't want to waste time if this template is out-of-date.

Thanks. As I mentioned, I found the correct module, but the Template Manager showed USER3 instead of TOPNAV.

The site is still offline, but I can send you an admin password. How do I send you a private message?

BTW, I just paid for a JB membership, and hope to use this template on one of our main sites.
