Joomla Templates

Ok everyone. I am fairly new at building a website. I am trying to figure out Joomla and I am getting lost everywhere. If this is the wrong board to post too, let me know =-O....

I am trying to get a different template to use, I downloaded and unzipped blissful 1.5 I believe it was, when I go into Extension Manager, and to templates, it doesn't give me a option to add. I went to the beginning where I have the option to Upload package file, Install from Directory, and Install from URL. The first option makes me pick each file from the template folder, and when I try to upload it, it says unknown archive type.....

Next I am having trouble understanding how Category's work with Sections and the other way around. If there is a help file I missed, just point me in that direction, thanks all!
