TOPIC: Centering front page content in Transparent Bliss

Centering front page content in Transparent Bliss 2 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
I've been trying to center some images on the front page of my website in Transparent Bliss 1.5, but I've been having some trouble.

I've tried using Joomla's center button on the article, putting inline css, and just trying to align them in my <p> tags. No matter what I do, everything just remains aligned to the left. The text under the pictures are centered under them, but the images are all the way to the left.

If anyone know a way around this, I'd very much appreciate hearing it.

Hi Mushboom,

you must set the alignment from the picture.

When you have upload it, marked the picture and select in the editor bar the picture button. In this properties you can set the alignment to middle and it must work.

I hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply hofmar. I tried using middle for the image alignment, and it still sticks to the left side. in the editor the images always look as though they're in the middle, but once I view it online, they're back to left alignment.

The inline css should have taken priority over any existing settings, so I really have no idea why this isn't working...

Ah ok, I´m understand.

Have you a link from your site?

I think that this is a problem with your editor. Which Editor do you have installed?

As a test, go in Backend and change in the "Global Configuration" the Default-Editor.

I'm currently using TinyMCE.

The website is www.caribou.ca

Please don't mind the sloppy background image, etc., still very much in development.

At first:
The pictures are in the middle. But in the middle from the Text-Elements. When you add more text, you can see it.

Please test:
Insert a new article only with one image and center it.

It is not easy to find th mistake without backend access ;-)
