Hello,

is there a way to use a favicon with TransparentBliss 1.5?

I tried to move my icon (favicon.ico) to the root of the template like it is explained regarding the JoomlaBear template, but it didn't work out.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Absolutely! Just place your Favicon in the Template directory, i.e. templates/transparentbliss3/favicon.ico

Hi Michael,

it is no problem. ;-)

Your way is correct. You must add the favicon.ico to \templates\transparent_bliss_1.5

Then delete your Cache from the Browser or refresh the site with F5.

That ist the way, it must work!
If it does not work, please send me a link from your site.

Regards,

hofmar

Thank you guys, you're really fast!

Finally I got it.

My problem was, that my favicon.ico actually was a gif with a wrong suffix. After uploading a "real" icon everything was fine.
