Hi,

New to Joomla and your site, but I really love your designs.

I bought a licence for Black Bear Chromatic for client's site, but when I switched to the new template I noticed that the image rotation script was not working. I did go to the JoomlaWorks site to download and install Simple Image Rotator, but still no joy.

Do I have to insert code into the HTML to make the image rotator work? Like I said, I'm new to Joomla and I'm not entirely familiar with how it all works just yet. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don

PS: Are you guys aware that there are login problems between your site and FireFox? I must have tried logging in 10 times through FireFox, and couldn't log in until I did it through MSIE. Same problem with registration - I figured I'd point it out.

Hi StrangerNY,

the template is prepared to use the slideshow. But you have only install the template. It is not possible to install the Slideshow extension with the template. That are different things...

When you want install the slideshow, you must download the extension JW_Simple_Image_Rotator,
for example from here.

When you have install it, go in the backend under Extensions >> Modul Manager and edit the "JW Simple Image Rotator" Modul.

There are some things to setting up:

      -Enable the modul
      -set Show Title to no
      -set the Position to feature
      -set the Image Folder path
-set the Image (header) width to 957
      -Image (header) height to 300

I have attached a picture to illustration.

Not forged that you must upload your own images at the path you have insert in the settings. Best with a width from 957 and a height from 300.

I hope it helps ;-)
