TOPIC: Randomizing colors in BlackBear Chromatic

So, I really love the template, and the ability to change colors is very cool. That's exactly what I've been looking for for a while. My question is this; Can I set up the template to randomize the colors instead of letting the user choose them?

My site is about LED products, and lots of colors is a good thing. The ability to make the template randomize display colors would fall nicely in line with that.

Thank you!

Hey N0ctrnl,

one fast way is, that you change some lines in the index.php

It works on my testsite. Please make a backup before you taste it.

I have attached you a index.php file packed in a .zip. Please donwload your "original" file and AFTER download rename the file on your server to for example: "index_org.php".

Then you Unpack my file, upload my modified index.php file in the blackbearprochromatic folder on your server.

Now, update your site with the F5 key. It must be work ;-)

That's awesome! Thank you very much for the quick reply and the fix. It's exactly what I was after. :)

So, umm, is there a way to make submenus on the mainmenu be expanded by default? Actually, having them expand on mouseover would be awesome too, but either way works. :) That's the only other thing I think I need for this template to be perfect.

Once again, thank you very, very much!

It appears that Joomla's SEO breaks the random colors. I just now noticed that.

Hi N0ctrnl,

on my testsite it runs trouble-free. Have you a link to your site?
