Joomla Templates

Our marketing director would like me to incorporate a rotating "banner" like the image below. First of all...does anyone know of an extension that would do that (the link below for the cherry festival shows the footer in motion) or do I need to figure out how to make it myself?

Second...We use the TransBear template for our site (which I absolutely love!) and am curious how I could implement the footer that she wants with this particular template?

you want it exactly as in this example? I mean you want it with one, two or three sponsors?

I use on a lot of sites the extension RokSlideshow for image rotation.

Anything is possible, but we would have to rebuild the template. But it is possible when you want.

I'd like three rotating logos in the left portion and a scrolling list similar to the right section. I need a faster learning curve so I wouldn't have to keep bugging you guys! LOL

Another quick question. I know I have the right to remove the joomla bear info from the bottom of the page but I really don't want to do that. What I would like to know is what do I need to do to make sure if someone clicks on the link that it opens in a new page? If I can drum up more business for you guys (since I absolutely love your templates and support) I am happy do to so. I just don't want my visitors to click on the link and be taken away from our site. :)

Please go in the backend Extensions >> Template Manager >> Edit TransBear >> Edit HTML

Then seach at the end of the file the line:

<div id="bear"> <a href="joomlabear.com">

and add behind the red marked


<div id="bear"> <a href="joomlabear.com" target="_blank">

Is this proving to be a major headache? =)

Should I assume that this is not going to work? If not, can anyone point me in the right direction for a mod that might work somewhat like the example above? Our festival kicks off in 44 days and our marketing director is breathing down my neck to get this done.

The game was unfortunately not well... :-(

But we have fixed the problem. ;-)

The way was, that we upload a new footer-image and setup the images fast and fix in the html files. When anyone have the same request, please wrote it here.
