Another Question for TransBear Template 1 Year, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I want to switch from 2 column to 3 column, the question I have is what setting in the template CSS sets the right column width? I thought I had figured it out but the right column is still wayyyyyy too big. (attached a screenshot to show)

I am trying to get the right and left columns to match in width. I had to switch it back to 2 column or I would have started getting calls from sponsors complaining.

Any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi CGFestival,

sorry for the delay, but the weather was very nice yesterday and we had a bank holiday in Germany ;-)

When I see it right, you solved the problem? For other user, what have you done?

Regards,

I still haven't been able to fix the issue. Had to go back to just 2 columns. I'm still trying to figure out what i need to do to fix the issue so I can have 3 columns instead of 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know what settings I need to change in the CSS to make everything show up correctly?

Hi,

normally you can setup it in the template.css under:

#right {
float:right;
width:172px;
padding-top:5px;
padding-left:5px;
}

But when it is ok for you please send me login-data from your site and I take a look at it. :-)

Good morning GermanBear! I just verified that my template CSS is the same as you posted above. I'm logged into skype currently. Send me a message on there and I'll give you the login info. I know this has to be something really simple but I just can't seem to find it.

Thanks again for all of your help, I really do appreciate it!

Ok, we have cleared the problem.
Here the solution:

At the normal version from TransBear the right column is bigger then the left column. When you want it with the same with, connect your site with ftp and rename this file: /templates/transbear/images/body.png . Then upload the image I attached in the same folder and your site has a smaller right column.

Well for a week now I've tried to fix the center column. My article still will not span the column and I'm ripping my hair out trying to fix it.

I've read all the posts on the site and still can't seem to get it to work. I thought I had found the problem (body-right graphic) but that didn't seem to fix it either.

Sadly I'm running out of time to work on this, have 30 events coming up that I'm receiving lists and such for, and if I can't get this fixed soon I'm going to have to scrap the 3 column plan and go back to 2 columns. /cry.
