Hi,

I am having an issue on IE8 with your polarbearpro template, the left navigation is displaced. It is working fine in all other browsers could you please have a look and let me know if there is something extra I need to do?

Welcome at JoomlaBear.com. Nice that you use our templates. :-)

Now to your problem. I see it in my IE on your site. But when I install the current Version of Polar Bear (Version: 03.10) everything is fine...

Have you change anything? In the CSS-File I could not detect any changes.

When you want you can contact me over skype and send me login-data to your backend. I take a look and search the mistake.

Did you remove Joomulus form your site KJ1080? I can't see it displayed. It seems a few people have had issues with this. For me it works on IE8, but I'll do a little more testing and see if I can replicate the issue.

I thought I was replying to a forum thread about Joomulus not displaying in IE8, I reread your question. Is navigation displaying correctly in IE8 now? I'm fairly sure we checked it in all major browsers.

Really sorry this is taking so long - it's more complicated than I had initially thought and there is some very strange behaviour in IE8. I'm still working on it and hope to have a fix very soon.

We fixed the problem over a remote maintance. But it is a fast solution. A finally patch coming in the near future!!!


The "solution":

Please go in the backend under Extensions >> Template Manager >> Polar Bear >> Edit HTML

There please insert behind the <head> (line 4) this:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=6" />

Now it runs ;-) Hope it helps.
