After switching from PolarBearPro 1.1 to 03.10 the "Top-Banner-468-60" shows no more the correct position in IE8 (firefox is ok)

It might have changed to "feature" position ? polarbear.myjoomlatemplate.com/?tp=1

Banner is on "top-banner-468-60" and "Simple Image Rotator" is on "feature".

Problem is only with Internet-Explorer 8 (switching IE8 to "compatibility-mode" fixes the problem). Works with Chrome and Firefox.

Hey expi,

have you a link to your site?

I reconstructed your conditions on my playground. I installed the newest Polar Bear 03.10 and Simple Image Rotator.

Then add it to position top-banner-468-60, but it looks fine(IE8 & FF) on my site. See the image I attached.

My site works only in the "compatibility-mode" of ie8.

Hey Expi,

I found a solution. Please go in the backend under Extensions >> Template Manager >> Polar Bear >> Edit HTML

There please insert behind the <head> (line 4) this:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=7" />

Now it runs ;-) Hope it helps.
