Joomla Templates

Hi,

We have paid for a premium membership and haven't received an email response any of my emails and I'm a little desperate, so I decided to write here.

I am using the polarbear pro template and have not been able to position an image banner at the top of the page to fit the header.

Joomla offers a top-banner 468-60 position, in the random images module, but this does not centre the banner (the images banner far left of centre).

How do we centre an image banner at the top of the page. For example, to fit the header space. If you place it is the top position nothing appears on the webpage. This confuses me.

I'm sorry about my lack of knowledge here.

Also is it possible to stop frontend editing on category pages. I have Hidden/stopped everything in the parameters and a 'new' link still appears which links to an article editor. This does not appear on my section pages though. It is all very confusing.

I'm very sorry if some of this information crosses into joomla software help but like I said I'm desperate for help information.

I've now downloaded the polarbearchromatic and am still not able to place the logo at the top ( or header) position. How do you do this? I'm happy to skype if that helps.

Hi Stephanie,

when you want to change the image, please create a new with the size 468 x 79 and upload it over ftp in the template folder (joomla_installation/templates/polarbear/images) Overwrite the old logo.png, and press F5 in your browser.

Now it must run. When you have problems, contact me.
