How do i place an image where the badders are on the preview templeate, i have it installed but only get a mess of a header with no text - no images but the popular bit of the menue bar in there instead???

You can just click new module in the joomla admin area, and put a image in the wysiwyg editor. All thats doing is save some details to the database telling joomla to display text/images/flash movies in the correct module area.

You could also have a look here

Haven't actually read it myself but it may be useful.
