BlackBear 3 column Newsflash 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago

I recently upgraded from BlackBear 2 column to BBear 3 column.

I had newsflash in the top position, below the top menu. However, in BBear 3 col I can't find a position for the newsflash.

Has anyone managed to get the newsflash across the top of the website; below any banner, random image and top menu?

See attached for a snapshot of how it was in BB 2 col.

it should be published in position user2. If not navigate 'site' (form the main joomla admin menu) then mouse over 'preview' and select 'inline with positions' that should show you what positions are available and where in the current template.

Thanks for the advice. I can't find the 'inline with positions' area to identify which areas are active in the template. Publishing the mod_newsflash to user2 creates a new area (under the top menu links)but the quotes do not appear. Most of the quotes are less than 1 line so should be displayed ok. Are there any changes that need to be made with the stylesheet? Any other suggestions?

Putting the module in user 2 displays in the left column. Putting the module in user 3 shows at the top but conflicts with the top menu which is also user 3. Which are of the sheet is designated for the newsflash?
