where do I change color of required form fields? 3 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hi, using transparency bliss.

I have several forms on my site.

I changed the css so that the background color of my form fields are black and the text entered by the user is usually white.

The problem is when it comes to required fields such as 'name' and 'email' the background color is yellow making the white text invisible.

What file in which folder of my template can I change the background color of required fields so that when filled in by user, the white text can be seen.

Is it in the template.css? If so where?

thanks

background-color: #fff !important;

that should work. There is a Firefox pulgin that highlights form fields that can be automatically filled in. It shows them as a custard yellow color. The !important should overwrite the plugin.
