Polar Bear template 2007/09/24 07:19 Karma: 0
Hi Big Bear,

I'm a newbie to joolma! and have just installed PolarBear Template. could you please offer some advice on the following questions.

how do i move the Module Positions that have been used in the template?

where can i find the name of the module positions used in the polarbear template?

how do i remove or access the footer so i can remove and replace the "theme by joomlabear" logo.

I know these questions might be annoying but it will speed up my learning curve

btw, polarbear theme looks excellent !

thank you in advance

Matt

Hi,

Most of your questions are answered in the blurb on the template demo: http://polarbear.joomlabear.com/

When you say "move the module positions" I assume you mean within Joomla - You can use the Joomla Admin Menu: Modules > Site Modules to re-order the position of the modules you have published.

If you want to relocate the modules within the index.php you'll need to know some HTML, CSS and PHP...

Our free templates have a fairly simple structure - Polar Bear and Black Bear have a Left Column and a User2 Module for the masthead.

To remove the footer strip out the following code from index.php

Code:

 <div id="bear"><a  href="http://joomlabear.com/"  class="divlink"> </a></div> </div>
