JoomlaBear offers no guarantee of any sort for templates or support, and will not be held liable for any loss or dammage that may result from the use, or missuse of our templates. We will not be held responsible for a person inability to use Joomla, our templates or 3rd party extensions being used with our templates.
Support is provided firstly through our forum and secondly via email. Using the forum is the preferred method because your questions may be answered even more quickly by another member of the community. It also means that the solution to your issue is visable for other users to benefit from in the future. Additional support is provided via email when sensitive data is being discussed, such as a you provding us with your Joomla site access details so that we can get in and fix something for you.
Support is for your JoomlaBear template and layout/design issues pertaining to your template - we are happy to answer standard Joomla administration questions as well, but template layout design questions are prioritized.
We cannot guarantee support for 3rd party extensions - unfortunately these are some of the most common issues that affect Joomla websites. We do our utmost to make sure everything works for you - however in case of a very complex 3rd party extension the issues may require many, many hours of skilled programming to correct and this is outside scope of what we can provide. We do have a lot of experience with these issues though, and most are solved quickly - we can also reccomend alternatives in many cases.
Support is limited to a total of two hours per 3 months of membership. Additional support beyond this can be negotiated if required. We have never had to enforce the 2 hour rule and no customer has ever left dissatisfied. We do draw the line theoretically at 2 hours to protect ourselves. In the few existing cases where more than two hours of dedicated support have been required, it has been because of a suggested improvment, or new feature that has taken some additional work. In this case we do not count the additional time towards the users support package as the features and improvments will obviously benefit the entire JoomlaBear community.
